Our Staff
The Executive Director and owner since 1983 is on site along with
the Business Director and Education Director to ensure the well being and safety of each child in the program. Teachers
hired since 1988 have received the National Credential of Child Development Associate Degree (CDA), a New York
State Teaching Degree or a Masters degree in Early Childhood Education. We are proud of the low staff turnover and many staff members have ten years
or more years of employment at New Discovery. Our staff has a reputation for their combination of educational skills,
practical experience, and a warm, caring devotion to each child’s growth and development. Staff members work cooperatively to share new ideas as well as tried and true practices for guiding children
and parents through the early childhood years.
