Socialization skills are emphasized in the two year old classroom. Learning to share
toys and play together are the goals set for the children. Artistic expression is developed through experimentation with art
materials. Children discover textures and experience hands on learning with paint, glue, watercolors, crayons and three-dimensional
junk art. Finger plays, songs and literature are introduced at circle time. Children sit together as a group for this
fun time of learning. Scissors are introduced in the late winter as fine motor skills become more developed. |

- Arrival and welcoming
- Supervised Free Play: social skills developed; playdough, crayons/ paper available.
- Diaper changing as needed

- Projects related to the theme of the day and using glue, paint and other media.
- Outside play or gym
