- Prior to starting work all newly hired staff are required to be fingerprinted.
- Prior to starting work all newly hired staff have to submit a statement from a health care
provider prior to employment and annually thereafter.
- Each employee must have a Mantoux tuberculin test (TB test).
Additional Teacher Requirements:
- Bachelors Degree in Education, including certification in Nursery or Pre-K. If the
applicant does not have the Nursery or Pre-K certification, he or she should have 9 college credits in Early Childhood, Child
Developement or a related field.
OR
- Associates degree in Early Childhood, Child Developement or related field.
OR
- CDA- Child Development Associate credential or 9 college credits in Early Childhood, Child
Development or a related field with a plan leading to a Child Development Associate Credential, and two years experience related
to caring for children.
AND
- Early Childhood Experience
- Three references must be provided.
